Estepona

WELCOME TO ESTEPONA THE GARDEN OF costa del sol

AUTHENTIC, CHARMING AND WELCOMING

Estepona is also called the Garden of Costa del Sol. It is easy to understand why. Estepona’s historic centre is an oasis of narrow streets decorated with flowers each 1.5 meters. The squares are full of orange trees and in springtime, the smell of orange blossom is present everywhere.

ESTEPONA OLD TOWN

Estepona old town is one of the most beautiful and picturesque old towns on Costa del Sol with typical Andalusian style whitewashed houses decorated with pots of flowers. Strolling around is the best way to discover all the beautiful streets and plazas in Estepona. It’s packed with cosy restaurants, bars and shops.

Some recommended restaurants to visit are:

Fine Dining – La Bulla
Fish – La Rada
Meat – Restaurante Sur, Grillhouse
Japanese – Takeko
Thai – Mini Thai
Tapas – Esquina del arte, La Casa del Rey

PLAZA DE LOS FLORES

Plaza de los Flores is the most famous square in Estepona. Have a drink in one of the many places on the square and see the orange trees and the oldest avocado tree in Andalusia. The Sky Bar on the new hotel El Pilar is a must for a drink and amazing views.

Sea promenade

Estepona is perfect for long walks on the beach promenade. You can walk very far now on the Senda Litoral and all the way to the port. There are many Chiringuitos “beach bars” on the way. Some of the best ones are Trocadero, Palm Beach and Paco.

The port

Estepona port is right next to the famous 21-meter lighthouse from the 19th century. The Marina offers many nice restaurants, bars, cafés, night clubs and yachts. There are many options for boat rental with the promise to see dolphins. Not to miss is the big market every Sunday from early morning until around 14:30. A lunch is highly recommended.
